Major Car Crashes Surge Last Week

The City of San Francisco announced a plan to eliminate traffic deaths by 2024 completely. This seems like a bold move considering that the next day, there were multiple fatal crashes in Forest Hill, Pacific Heights, the Tenderloin, and Excelsior.

The weekend collisions were blamed for two deaths and two serious injuries, including a 96-year-old West Portal woman who was injured by a car while crossing the street. While the city is dedicated to the reshaping the public’s view of traffic safety, injuries and deaths are still occurring in record numbers. It is essential that every San Francisco resident inform themselves of what to do in case they find themselves injured in a car accident.
