Ashley Pellouchoud is a managing attorney at Gomerman | Bourn & Associates, representing clients in complex employment and civil rights litigation. Their work spans cases involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage-related violations in the workplace. With a particular focus on survivors of sexual assault and others impacted by systemic injustice, Ashley brings a deep commitment to equity and to empowering underrepresented communities throughout Northern California.
A lifelong dedication to civil rights and workplace fairness drives Ashley’s advocacy. Over the past decade, they have recovered millions of dollars on behalf of employees and marginalized individuals.
Widely known for trial readiness and persistence, Ashley has resolved numerous hard-fought cases through litigation rather than early settlement.
In 2025, Ashley helped secure a $9.15 million verdict for a longtime employee of a publicly traded company who stood up to harassment and retaliation at work, including $6 million in punitive damages. In 2024, Ashley helped secure a $1.26 million award for a whistleblower in a high stakes retaliation case against a private equity firm. Notably, a 2019 bench trial victory in Santa Cruz resulted in full lost wages, PAGA penalties, and attorneys’ fees with a multiplier, due to the case’s complexity. Ashley also played a key role in Lillehagen v. Alorica, a consolidated class action that secured a $9.25 million settlement for thousands of call center workers (No. 13-cv-0092, May 31, 2016).
Earlier in their career, Ashley served as a Graduate Fellow at the Environmental Law & Justice Clinic, representing low-income individuals in civil rights matters. During that time, they successfully argued an administrative appeal against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
In addition to litigation, Ashley’s work includes appellate matters and contributions to published decisions that have helped shape California employment law. A strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, Ashley has served on the board of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF) and remains actively involved with the BALIF Foundation.
From 2019 to 2025, Ashley was selected to the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list, a distinction awarded to just 2.5% of attorneys under 40 or within their first ten years of practice.
Whether in the courtroom or the community, Ashley is known for thorough preparation, strong advocacy, and unwavering care for the people and causes they serve. Outside of work, they enjoy running along the coast, skateboarding, playing basketball, and road tripping through Northern California and beyond.
