Salma Suleyman is the primary Intake Paralegal and Office Manager at Gomerman | Bourn & Associates, where she serves as the first point of contact for many individuals seeking legal guidance. Since joining the firm in 2014, she has become a trusted and consistent presence for those navigating what is often a difficult and unfamiliar process.
About Salma
Clients often describe her as responsive and thoughtful in her approach, particularly in the way she connects individuals with the firm’s personal injury and employment attorneys.
Before her legal career, Salma’s experience was rooted in communication, service, and advocacy. She spent more than a decade in the nonprofit humanitarian sector, supporting victims of torture and advocating against cruel and inhumane treatment and detention.
Her efforts also focused on advancing women’s economic and social rights through microfinance and small business initiatives. This commitment to empowerment extended to education, where she taught ESL to students and young adults at Amideast.
Today, she works with clients across all office locations, including San Francisco, San Jose, Redwood City, and Santa Rosa, bringing that same dedication to each interaction.
In her free time, Salma enjoys yoga, hiking, strength training, and reading. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, Rumi.
