The middle of May gave us a valuable opportunity to step away from our day-to-day routines, come together as a team, and focus on where we’ve been, where we’re going, and how we can continue building an even stronger firm together.
On Monday and Tuesday, team members from across the firm gathered for employee meetings focused on collaboration, communication, and connection. It was a chance to share ideas, discuss opportunities for improvement, celebrate successes, and ensure we remain aligned as we continue to grow. One of the best parts of these meetings was having the opportunity to spend time together in person, strengthen relationships, and connect with colleagues we don’t always get to see face-to-face.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the Extended Leadership Team met for two full days of strategic planning and working sessions. The group spent time discussing initiatives, processes, challenges, and opportunities for the future. The conversations were thoughtful, productive, and centered around one goal: making our firm stronger for both our team members and our clients. We left the week energized by the ideas that were shared and excited about the opportunities ahead.
Of course, some of the best conversations happen outside of conference rooms. Throughout the week, we enjoyed two team dinners filled with great food, laughter, and meaningful conversations. These gatherings gave us an opportunity to connect on a more personal level, strengthen relationships, and simply enjoy spending time together. As our firm continues to grow, maintaining those connections remains an important part of who we are.
Another highlight of the week was attending the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association (SFTLA) Trial Lawyers of the Year Dinner on Thursday evening. It was a wonderful event that brought together members of the legal community to celebrate excellence in trial advocacy and service to the profession. The evening featured amazing food, engaging conversations, and valuable networking opportunities. It was inspiring to connect with fellow legal professionals, hear their stories, and celebrate the accomplishments of those making a meaningful impact in our field.
Friday served as a travel day for many of our team members who traveled to the Bay Area for the week. As everyone headed home, it provided a chance to reflect on a productive and rewarding few days spent learning, planning, collaborating, and reconnecting.
